Design Team Member Jill Taylor

We are so delighted to have Jill on our team! She is an amazing crafter and has an incredible eye for color combinations, and ink backgrounds! Please meet the fabulous Jill Taylor!
I'm a wife of 29 years, a mother to an 18 year old young man who attends The University of Montana in their Technical Theatre program.  We moved to Missoula, MT about four years ago from Sacramento, CA.  My husband and I are both retired, he from law enforcement, me from Nursing.  I've been crafting for about 11 or 12 years now, initially wanting to get into scrapbooking with my best friend in order to spend more time together doing something fun and creative.  Well, I've always loved art, just couldn't fit it into my busy adult life, so when we decided on this, I was more than ready to start!  I took off and never looked back.  My friend, who was a single mom just couldn't find the time.  So after about a year or so of scrapbooking, I discovered that I enjoyed card-making much more (I think it's the instant gratification you get in making a card).
I became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for about 4 years, which I did enjoy, but when we moved I decided to broaden my stamping exposure and did my own thing, learning from artists such as Sandy Allnock, Jennifer McGuire, Kristina Werner, and others.  I love to watercolor, use ink blending techniques, use Copic markers and colored pencils in my cardmaking.
I recently tackled a full-sized watercolor of a bouquet of flowers for a friend's family who recently passed away. I think I learned more on that project than with any other class or project before.  I also began my journey designing cards a little over a year now, first with Kennedy Grace Creations, then Creative Escape Papercrafting, and now with the amazing Witt and Sass Stamp Company!
