About Us

Owner and Illustrator

Hi, I'm Amy Hurley Purdie! I am a self-described "Scrapbook/ stamp/craft Fanatic"! I eat, sleep, and breathe it! I have been in the crafting industry as an artist and designer for the last 16 years and have had the privilege of working with some of the most amazing companies and people in the industry. I have loved drawing from a very early age, so much so that my childhood nickname became Amy Doodle because I couldn't stop doodling! I have loved working as an illustrator for stamping companies in the industry and now I have fulfilled my dream of owning my own company!

I am a small company operating right out of my dining room! My family and I love this wonderful new adventure we are on and we love being able to take all my fellow crafters along with us! The name Witt & Sass came from my best friend Teresa. We were trying to come up with a name for the company and I said "I want a name that has something to do with me. I want the company to represent me". To which she said, "Oh that's easy, call it Witt & Sass because you are definitely both of those things"! So, Witt & Sass Stamp Company was born! We hope to come up with fun and innovative products that will make you smile. Thank you so much for supporting our little company and being a part of this crafty adventure!

Amy oversees our creative department. She continues to create colorful and charming samples as well as develops new products for each line. We must be careful though; if left unsupervised Amy tends to add glitter to anything not nailed down.

Amy manages all our web services here at Witt & Sass. She maintains our site perfectly; however, we do catch her watching Netflix at work from time to time.

Need a question answered or have a problem? Amy has been heading up our customer service department since day one. We put her on phones because we can't get her to stop talking, and this way at least we can get some work done.

That stunning mustache is clearly the reason why shipping runs so smoothly here at Witt & Sass. Without Amy's debonair style, sweet stache, and crazy good packing skills we are sure the shipping department would just collapse.
